Analysis

In between buildings on Main St. is a nearly vacant parking lot, with an empty lot behind it. This site is on the busiest street in Point Douglas and will be seen by many people everyday.

-These residential micro-neighborhoods have small lots, private alleys, and few empty lots. Two story houses prevail, and it is not uncommon to see condemned houses with boarded up windows.

Program

-This site needs to be pedestrian friendly, along with access for cars from Main St.

-There are green spaces nearby, and our site needs to play off these in a downtown city area.

-Well developed area, with many stores and buildings to play off of, from bars to resturants, a clinic and hotels all along the same strip
